Hi, I’m Hayley - founder of The Yesterday House
Like many 80s kids, I grew up surrounded by the style choices of my grandparents - the patterns, wood cladding and personality of the 70s, along with all the stories that came with it! I’ve always been drawn back to that warmth and feeling of home.
After years of living in London and building a growing collection of vintage furniture, we returned to my hometown of Southampton and began restoring our first home, a space we’ve proudly filled with bold colours, vintage treasures and pieces that remind us of growing up.
What I found tricky was sourcing retro kitchenware in matching sets that truly fit our style, it felt like searching for a needle in a haystack. So I began creating my own designs, inspired by our home and those fond memories.
What started as a way to bring more joy into our own home soon grew into something more. I wanted to share that feeling, so I took the leap and created The Yesterday House, a brand rooted in celebrating colour, nostalgia and everyday joy!
